Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you confirm you meet this requirement and that the information you give us is accurate.

The Perfect Add helps you organize your wardrobe, understand what you actually wear, and build looks, with suggestions and links to shop pieces that complete them. The Service uses AI to recognize garments, generate styled images, and produce recommendations through StyleSoul, our behavioral recommendation engine.

Styling suggestions are exactly that: suggestions. They are not professional, financial, or any other kind of advice.

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login secure. Let us know promptly if you suspect any unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

Your content. This includes the garment images and any other material you upload, plus the information you add about your wardrobe.

You keep ownership. We do not claim ownership of the photos or wardrobe information you upload.

The license you give us. To operate the Service for you, you grant us a limited license to host, store, process, display, and adapt your content for the purpose of providing and improving the Service to you. This license exists only to run the Service. It ends when you delete the content or your account, except for content that has already been de-identified and aggregated where you opted into that.

Your responsibility for your content. You confirm that you have the right to upload what you upload, and that doing so does not break the law or violate anyone else's rights. Do not upload images of other people without their permission.

What we generate. The Service creates styled images and recommendations using AI, based on your wardrobe and brand catalog data.

Using and sharing them. You are free to use the styled images we generate for personal use, including sharing them on social media through the sharing features we provide. Images you share may carry The Perfect Add branding or a watermark.

Disclosing AI-generated content when you share. Generated images are synthetic media. When you share them publicly, you agree to follow the rules of the platform you post to and any applicable law on labeling AI-generated content. Where our sharing feature can add a label or disclosure for you, we will, but the responsibility to comply rests with you. Do not strip out any AI-content metadata or labels we or our providers include in the image file.

Your rights in what you upload. Your right to use and share a generated image depends on you holding the necessary rights or consent for everything you put into it. Do not generate or share images that depict a real person without their consent.

Featuring your shared looks. When you choose to share a look publicly through our sharing features, you grant us a license to feature that shared look in The Perfect Add's own marketing and promotional materials, with attribution where practical. This applies only to looks you actively choose to share or make public, never to your private wardrobe or content you keep private. You can ask us to stop featuring a specific look at any time.

Two honest limits. First, images created by AI may not be eligible for copyright protection the way a photograph you take is, so neither you nor we can promise exclusive ownership of an AI-generated image. Second, generated images may incorporate brand garment imagery and AI-generated model likenesses provided through our partners. Commercial use beyond ordinary personal social sharing, for example reselling, paid advertising, or promoting your own business, is not granted and could infringe third-party rights. Clearing those rights for any such use is your responsibility.

Accuracy. AI recommendations and recognitions can be wrong. Garment matches, attributes, and styling suggestions are best-effort and not guaranteed to be accurate.

The Service may show links to third-party retailers so you can buy pieces. Those sites are run by others, not us. We are not responsible for their products, prices, availability, content, or policies, and a link is not an endorsement. Any purchase you make is between you and that retailer, under their terms.

Some links may be affiliate links added by the person who shared a look. Where that applies, it is disclosed on the shared look.

Some features are optional and within your control. Your wear log is on by default, it powers your StyleSoul recommendations, and you can turn it off at any time from your account settings. If we offer the option to share anonymized wear data with brand partners, that feature is off unless you actively opt in. How these work and what data they involve is described in full in the Privacy Notice.

Do not misuse the Service. In particular, do not:

• Break the law or upload content you do not have the rights to
• Upload or generate images of other people without their consent
• Create deceptive or misleading depictions of real individuals
• Generate or share explicit, defamatory, harassing, or unlawful imagery
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract our underlying models or data
• Interfere with or attack the Service or its infrastructure
• Use the Service to build a competing product
• Infringe anyone else's intellectual property or privacy rights

We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these rules.

The Service, including the app, StyleSoul, our recommendation technology, designs, and trademarks, belongs to us and our licensors. These Terms do not give you any rights in our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as intended.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI outputs will be accurate or suitable for any purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. On termination, the parts of these Terms that by their nature should survive will survive, including the content license, our intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law.

We may change the Service and, from time to time, these Terms. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email before the changes take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
